Congratulations to Marley Turk, senior at Ames High School, on becoming our FIRST Nash Athlete of the Week!

“Marley was the individual Champion at The Kirk Schmaltz Invite on Thursday in Ames. She won by over 9 seconds to the second place finisher. Most of central Iowa’s top cross country teams were at this meet. She was the only runner to break 18 minutes, with an excellent time of 17:54 for 5000 meters. She beat several runners who were in the top ten at last year’s state meet. Marley is going to be one of the top runners in the state this fall.
