“Jordan has a passion for track. After a knee injury in 8th grade track he had to have surgery for, he has put in the hard work to get back and was awarded most improved sprinter last year. He was an alternate for 4×100 at Drake and State meet last year. Jordan is a hard working student with awesome grades. Along with his regular classes he is taking some criminal justice classes through DMACC. He has enlisted in the Iowa National Guard and will go to basic after graduation. When he returns from Guard training he had committed to run track for Grandview University.” Nominated by his Mother, April Thompson
