Taylor Swift‘s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, has earned a sixth straight week atop the Billboard 200.

The surprise double album earned 175,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the May 24-30 tracking week, according to Laminate.

This marks the largest sixth-week for any album since Adele‘s 25 earned 363,000 units in the concurrent time frame in 2016.

The Tortured Poets Department is also the first album to spend its first six weeks at No. 1 since Morgan Wallen‘s One Thing at a Time led for its first 12 weeks last year.

Swift also extended her record as the solo artist with their albums spending the most weeks – 75th career week – at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The superstar dropped her highly anticipated album via Republic Records on April 19, and within a few days, it became the top-selling album of 2024.

While the 31-track double album’s first volume features collaborations with Post Malone and the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine, the second volume contains 15 additional songs, four of which are previously announced physical bonus tracks.

Meanwhile, the new entries in the top 10 on the latest chart, dated June 8, include Twenty One PilotsClancy at No. 3, and RM‘s Right Place, Wrong Person at No. 5.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate.
