Congratulations to Haylie Weinheimer, Sophomore at Des Moines North High School, our Nash Athlete of the Week!

“Haylie has worked hard to qualify for state swimming as a freshman and sophomore. As a freshman she finished 24 in the 100 backstroke and 25 in the 500 free. This year, as a sophomore, she finished the state meet as an 8th place finisher in the 50 free and a 3rd place finisher in the 100 back.
Haylie started swimming at 6 for the NorthSide Otters (NHS Feeder team) and has swam with that team her whole career.
Haylie has stayed committed to DSM North even with her ability and talent. She also varsity plays basketball, varsity soccer and runs track for North.” Nominated by her Mom, Liz Weinheimer
